He singled out the miraculous plant calling it Barbadensis MILLER, from over 400 varieties of aloe grown today, as being most nutritious and healing of all.
Aloe made its first documented appearance in 2200 B.C.E., in the Sumerian City, of Nippur. The Sumerians were well versed in the use of aloe for its purgative and digestive healing properties.
