EcoFoods Outreach Programs
In order to serve people better, Mr. Rajesh S. Shetty founded the “Sai Karuna Health, Education and Medical Support Foundation” which supports over 100 HIV & MDR-TB patients under WHO DOTS Program. The foundation is also engaged in supporting the education of tribal people and their children, creating health awareness amongst them and guiding them in case of serious medical conditions. Supports the tribal children in their initial schooling, by providing books, clothes, and basic livelihood expenses for higher education.
In addition, the company has several outreach programs through which it tries to help cancer patients across India. Some of these are as follows.
- We collaborate with Civil Hospital & Nashik Merchant Co-operative Bank Cancer Hospital (NAMCO), to provide Anjaneya to patients and conduct counseling sessions for them. HIV and MDR Tuberculosis patients under the World Health Organization’s DOTS (Direct Observations Treatment Study) are administered Anjaneya and Protein supplements which has resulted in mass gain and significant improvement in digestive functions. The program has now gained momentum and popularity and has even been accredited by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
- We provide Anjaneya to the TATA Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, which is distributed by them on a need-based requirement.
- We supply Anjaneya to Shri. Harakchandji Savla of Jeevan Jyot Cancer Relief Trust, Mumbai, who administers it as required.
- The children from tribal areas are often susceptible to various diseases, on account of their low immunity. We provide Anjaneya to these school children and any other cancer patients via Late Brother Hemant Michael and his followers through the Christian Missionaries in the tribal belts of Satpura, Vada, Palghar, Cochin, Manipur, Nagaland and Odisha. Regular consumption of the Graviola Fruit Juice helps increase immunity and resistance towards diseases in the growing children.
- We collaborate with known circle in Golden Temple at Amritsar, to provide Anjaneya to the needy cancer patients.
- The Bohri Charitable Trust does an admirable job in creating awareness about cancer and providing relevant medical care. We assist them by supplying Anjaneya at minimal cost, which is then distributed by Mr. Nooruddin Zahabhi among their cancer patients.
- We work with the Thai Cancer Support Trust at Chennai through Shri. Parameswaran to provide Anjaneya to people afflicted with cancer.
In addition, we aid in medical counseling for patients suffering from chronic ailments and increase patient awareness about the malpractices in the healthcare sector.
Furthermore, we conduct entrepreneur skill development sessions for the youth in colleges like the Symbiosis Institute of Management, Nasik and Kothari Institute of Management, Nasik.
The team has organized several women’s health awareness programs, thus contributing in every way possible towards social upliftment.
